12/29/13: 'Hi Murray's, we arrived to the condo today and I have to tell you we love it!! I am super impressed with how immaculate and clean it is, there are so many touches we just love. Like the kitchen cabinets. We almost did not take the unit due to the queen bed and we are used to a king. But I am so glad we did. This is our 4th time renting in NCV and this is by far the nicest. North Coast Village consists of privately owned beach condominiums - you'll find yourself referring to NCV as a 'resort'. Situated on the Pacific Ocean and the palm-lined, white sand beaches of the North Strand (On Left: NCV Pics 7, 8, 9 Entrance, Interior, from Water). This is a first floor condo - no steps or elevator from your own reserved parking space. We have partial views of both the Ocean and Harbor, plus tropical garden views.
Right next door is Oceanside Harbor known as a ‘Mecca’ for water sports. The Harbor offers a convenient boat launch area as well as services for kayaking and jet skiing. With 950 pleasure boat slips, you’ll see some lavish and high priced water craft. There is quaint village shopping at resort-style boutiques, top-name restaurants, cafes al fresco, congenial people, and picnicking on the park’s greens overlooking both the Harbor and Ocean. Kids enjoy the playground there.
A ten minute walk will find you at Oceanside City Pier - 1,942-foot wooden pier (built in 1888 - longest in the Western US) Fish directly off the pier or surf fish along the coastline. Ruby’s Restaurant is located at the end of the Pier. Walk, jog, rollerblade, or bike Oceanside's 6 miles of beach (known for the best beaches and surf in all of Cali). CANCELLATION POLICY IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The time factor is critical in vacation rentals, and your reservation will hold this rental off the market for a period of time. If you cancel for any reason after we have emailed your Confirmation, your security deposit cannot be refunded unless the vacation rental is re-rented and possibly less up to $200.00 if discounting the rate is needed to re-rent. If you cancel for any reason within 30 days of your arrival date, full payment will be forfeited and your security deposit will be refunded. Security Deposit: If we re-rent within 30 days of your cancelled arrival date, your security deposit will be forfeited. Full Rate: If we re-rent within 30 days of your cancelled arrival date, the full rate will be returned less any costs discounting the rate needed to re-rent (Maximum 50%). The earlier you warn us that you may need to cancel, the better the chances of re-renting with no costs. We cannot offer refunds for inclement weather or early departures.

We strive to provide the most accurate description of our rental unit that we possibly can. When unable to preview rental property, tenants accept such property as described and hold the us, Landlord/Owner, harmless for any discrepancies upon taking occupancy. We make every effort to maintain our unit to the best of our ability. In the event of malfunction of any appliance, every effort will be made to have repairs made as soon as possible. No refunds will be given for inoperable equipment.

For many visitors and most residents, Oceanside is quintessential California. Picture a quaint beachfront community where visitors enjoy a ‘funky surf town’ in near perfect climate. Steeped in history just minutes away is Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, the "King of Missions" and nestled behind the Mission is Heritage Park Village and Museum with an idyllic main street lined with many of Oceanside's historic buildings. Cruise down Historic Route California/US 101 to downtown Oceanside, where you can shop and dine at the many downtown businesses. Some History: The area was first visited by European explorers in 1769. The Spanish missionaries under Father Junipero Serra founded Mission San Luis Rey de Francia on a former site of a Luiseno Indian village on the banks of the San Luis Rey river. In the early 1800's, introduced farming and grazing changed the landscape of what would become Oceanside. The area like all of California was under Spanish, in 1821 Mexican rule and annexed by the U.S. in 1848.

In the late 1850s, Andrew Jackson Myers lived in San Joaquin County. A native of La Salle County, Illinois, he returned in the late 1880s and lived in San Luis Rey. In 1882 Myers moved on the land that was the original town site for Oceanside. A patent for the land was issued in 1883 by the federal government.[1] It was incorporated on July 3, 1888.
